About the Artist: Doron Oved (b. 1980) is a graduate of the Department of Photography and Media at the WIZO Haifa Academic Center (2011). Her practice spans still photography, video, and mixed media, often referencing the gallery space and the image as a physical object. While her photographs are rooted, they transcend specific place, time, or culture, raising questions about alienation, belonging, and the tension between essence and appearance.
Oved has held solo exhibitions in Israel and participated in numerous group exhibitions worldwide, including House of Lucie (Los Angeles), Valid Foto (Barcelona), Makom L’Omanut (Tel Aviv), and Indie Photography Group Gallery.
