This exhibition presents the works of 20 prominent Israeli and international photographers, selected from over 400 submissions as finalists for the prestigious Meitar Award. The works echo visual voices from diverse geographical spaces, from the center to the periphery, and from the visible to the repressed. Through a contemporary photographic glance, images, symbols, and traditions that were once part of oppressive imperial mechanisms are revealed. Now, they are rediscovered as forms of expression, identity, and memory, creating a new visual space where history and the current events meet through the photographer’s lens.
