They come to the Jordan river from the eye of the storm. Diego comes from the war In Ukraine; now she is in another place. Gali fled from her home during the COVID-19 days—she fled from the tension, the frustration and the screens. I met all of them on the banks of the Jordan river, and I chose life – just like the people on the banks of the Jordan river.
I went out on this journey inspired by Alec Soth’s Sleeping by the Mississippi.
