A unique event that brings moving, funny, and intriguing letters to the stage, performed by some of Israel’s finest actors and actresses.
From Leonard Cohen’s words of love to Marianne, to the cry “I have no money now” that concludes Lea Goldberg’s letter to the income tax clerk; from David Ben-Gurion’s expressions of longing to his wife Paula, to the complaint of a furious passenger to the Ryanair airline, and even the letter from Supreme Court Justice Esther Hayut to Knesset Member Dudi Amsalem—the stage will host letters expressing love, anger, joy, and frustration.
Letters were, and still are, a means of communication that bridges distance and time, connecting loved ones and families, confronting organizations and customers, igniting protests, and creating ethical and moral standards.
