“Being a Brazilian who has lived where the Amazon starts, my heart and mind know the importance of this ‘lung of the world’”, says Daniel Taveira Bruno. The title of his project, Anthropogenic, refers to the sequence effects, processes, and materials derived from human activities, as opposed to those that occur in natural environments without any human influences. The consequence of past actions resulting in the constant climate changes of the present, defining our uncertain future. Through his lens, Taveira Bruno raises awareness of climate change and wishes to impact people in a visually dramatic way.
