In a small town in Russia, a couple welcomes a baby girl into the world and embarks on a shared journey, navigating the complexities of relationships, parenthood, economic constraints, and the pursuit of a better life. They decide to begin a new life. Or Sachs joined their dream and entered their lives by using a camera. Together they climbed mountains, bathed in rivers and springs, and traveled long distances beneath the sun and skies. The same dream envisioned by Lusha and Pavel provided Sachs with a chance to visit a life parallel to his own. He returns to them over and over again, revisiting that same old world of relationships between youth and maturity, between men and women, between tiny villages and wild stories. Sachs is drawn to stories and people who attempt at creating additional possibilities within reality. With deliberate intent, he blurs the boundaries between life itself and its representation in photographs, between these representations and dreams, and between dreams and reality.
