Many of us live just a short distance away from the ultra-Orthodox community in Bnei Brak, and yet to us it is a separate world, albeit a diverse and fascinating one.
Last Hannuka I walked around the streets of Bnei Brak. The menorahs stationed on every windowsill created a lovely display, and the light from each apartment offered me a glimpse into this unique world.
