In the wake of the horrific Hamas attack on October 7th 2023, our hearts and thoughts are with those in southern Israel, and throughout the country. While our hearts may be broken, our spirit remains strong—a guiding light of hope for the renewal, repair, and restoration of Israeli society.
This exhibition stands as a testament to Israel’s enduring strength in the face of anguish and loss. The purpose of this exhibition is to capture the essence of resilience and unity, portraying people coming together to provide support during the darkest hours of need.
The Israeli international development and humanitarian community, renowned for its swift response to crises worldwide, redirected its efforts to support those affected at home. These NGOs brought their vast experience from around the world, collaborating with local Israeli communities, the private sector and the government to help as first responders and in longer-term resilience efforts in Israel.
As we hope for a year of renewal, repair, and restoration, let this exhibition symbolise the active and robust role of the non-government sector in shaping the future of Israel. Together, we stand resilient, united, and committed to overcoming the challenges that lie ahead.
