Photography for Change – PHOTO IS:VOICE Israel, Renewed Memory: Rwanda/Israel, Femlens Europe and PhotoVoice USA.

Dr. John Nyiligira, Josue Niyomutabazi and Pini Snir will present the project “Renewed Memory” – a path to a collective commemoration through a joint process and the use of video in relation to the Tutsi Genocide in Rwanda. Prof. Marcy Paul will share cross-continental and cross-cultural processes based on the PhotoVoice method. Jekaterina Saveljeva will talk about FemLENS and the organization’s efforts to help women worldwide develop their abilities, independence and self-possession through photography workshops. Finally, Michal Baharav Uzrad will briefly present some of the works created as part of PHOTO IS:RAEL’s social outreach in the language of photography.
